About the Network
Our mission is to stimulate cutting-edge fundamental and societally relevant research and teaching in Human Resource Management, with a particular emphasis on developing partnerships between University-members of the Network aimed at collaborative teaching and research, and collaboration with businesses and Universities of Applied Sciences.
Our activities

International Conference of the Dutch HRM Network
The 12th International Conference of the Dutch HRM Network will take place on 9-11 November 2022 at the University of Twente in The Netherlands.

pHResh
(PhD Network)
pHResh is a free-to-join network for PhDs in the fields of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior, with its roots in The Netherlands and Belgium.


History of the Network
The Dutch HRM Network was founded in the 1990s. Around 1996/1997 a growing number of research schools about subject domains arose. HRM was not represented in those schools. This led to the initiative by Jaap Paauwe and Paul Jansen to develop a similar set-up for HR-Studies. For further thoughts and discussion they invited colleagues of other universities: Jan Kees Looise (University of Twente), Wout Buitelaar (UvA) and Fred Huijgen (Radboud University). These meetings took place at a central point in The Netherlands, namely at Vervoersbond CNV (transport union), located opposite to Woerden train station…
Dutch HRM Network
Awards & Recognition
At each Dutch HRM Network Conference three prizes are presented by the Dutch HRM Network: the HRM award, the Best paper award, and the Best dissertation award. Some of these prizes are presented since the very first edition of the Dutch HRM Network Conference in 1999.
