This PhD-level course is highly recommended for doctoral students specialising in Human Resource Management (HRM). Throughout the course, participants will gain state-of-the-art insights into HRM theories, models, and current research. Alongside developing their academic expertise, participants will connect with fellow PhD researchers and leading HRM scholars, creating valuable opportunities for intellectual exchange, collaboration, and networking.

The course provides an advanced understanding of contemporary HRM research through nine content-focused sessions, including HRM, well-being and performance,  HR devolution, HRM in the public sector, advanced research methods, meaningful work, leadership, artificial intelligence and HRM, active employees and employee agency and sustainable careers and employability

  • Individuals and groups in organisations and work settings;
  • HR practices relating to the management and development of employees; and
  • The economic and social contexts that shape organisations and HRM practices.

📍 Format: Nine one-day, in-person sessions held across different university campuses in the Netherlands and Belgium and hosted by members of the Dutch HRM Network.
