Two weeks ago the first session of the Advanced Studies in HRM took place. A group of 17 PhD candidates working at 12 different universities and business schools joined the first session of the PhD-level HRM course.

The introduction session went very well. As always, we have agroup of extremely motivated and enthusiastic PhD candidates. They are eager to broaden and deepen their knowledge on HRM and related topics. This year, the group is very diverse, with PhD candidates with seven different nationalities (Belgian, Chinese, Cuban, Dutch, German, Hungarian, and Vietnamese).

After learning everything about “HRM, employee outcomes, and organizational performance” in the first session, students were challenged with topics regarding “Change management in the public sector” in the second session last week.

In the next months they will follow another seven dedicated sessions on a variety of HR-related topics (from HRM & artificial intelligence to Sustainable careers). More information about the course can be found here.
